Tpoll's in house IT expertise means that we host and develop our solutions on our own secure servers, using the latest methods to ensure high availability and data integrety. Also, as an MRS Company Partner, all of our systems and processes are compliant with the 1998 Data Protection Act, so data is encrypted at the appropriate points, and stored only as necessary.
Data Centre
We use a cluster of servers managed and hosted in conjunction with Rackspace® at their LON3 Data Centre. Some of the key security and integerity points of this facility include:
- No Public Access
- Video Surveillance
- Onsite Security Personnel
- Biometric Security & Pass Cards
- Power Systems including UPS and Diesel Generators
- Resilient and redundant network infrastructure
- BGP4 Routing & guaranteed packet delivery
Server Technologies
Our systems use a combination of proprietary and open-source technologies that include:
- Redhat Enterprise 4 64-bit
- MySQL 5.1
- PHP 5.3 on Apache 2.2
